I just cannot, with a clear conscience, give this 4 stars. I was fairly entertained but this was not as exciting as the previous books in the series. I had heard this book had the people and events of Dorne and I really looked forward to reading them. However they were fairly dull chapters. I found my mind wandering through those parts. About the last 200 pages of the book were excellent.

Not that I hated this book but another star is added only for Cersei's entertaining chapters and some major twists at the end. I wish I could really give this more stars but the stories were too long and too slow.

The problem with this book was too much illustration and less of the story progress, apart from knowing who's who you could easily read the last few chapters that too only their ends. Somehow, Brienne's chapters were killing me initially, only reason I finished this one was an obligatio ...more
