Asher Black begins when Lucy ends up making the mistake of calling the cops on someone she shouldn't. Then her whole world gets turned upside now, now she hows a "wise guy" a favor, and she has no idea what to do about it.

This book was actually really good. It had some editing issues, but nothing that takes away from the story too much, it was still really good. I loved the heroine and hero together, they were great, and it was actually more of a slow burn romance. ...more

I loved this book, it had action, intrigue, angst, and the romance and love was a slow burn but worth it. I love Asher, he is cocky, confident, matter of fact, sexy, and protective and Lucy was vulnerable on one hand but strong on the other, she was a loner that needed a person even if she didn’t realize it. She too was protective of Asher and was constantly fighting between what she wanted and what she “should” want. I love these two together, they have great chemistry. I enjoyed meeting some o ...more

+ COLLEGE. Junior year transfer into Wilton, an Ivy League equivalent for Bioinformatics and Genomics
+ MAFIA. outside mafia fixer but trying to get out (lesser plot)

+ CONTINUATION. yes with supporting character from the Andretti family
