wow!!!! I can't believe i stalled on reading this book it was really good, i usually have hang ups about reading fae books but this series i adore. This to me was like the twisted version of beauty and the beast forgive the comparison if this offends you. i admire the character Feyre she is a cool huntress and i like Tamlin but am i wrong for wanting her to be into Rhys ?
Anyway onto the next i hope there are even better things to come. ...more

Slow burn, world building, creatures, magic, and plot twists. Some characters I loved, some I wanted more of and some just annoyed me. Enjoyed this first book of series.
Single POV. Fantasy romance. Light spice.

Well, as much as I enjoyed this story, I didn’t love it, and I truly expected to. I had, after all, had so many recommendations from my book friends. Friends who said it was one of their favourite books ever, and a must read series. Whilst I did love Feyre, and most especially Tamsin, I wasn’t truly gripped until the second half of the story. A story that was so well written and with some excellent plot twists etc, but a story that didn’t have me truly invested. Lots of magic, with good faeries ...more
