I am both happy and sad I waited so long to read this book. Happy because there are two more books out there for me to devour before I get caught up and sad, because I waited two years after this book came out to read it.

I'm not a fan of hype. Usually I wait until it dies down a little before I pick a book up, just so I can give it a fair shake. I didn't want to have my reading experience ruined because my expectations were too high. I worried needlessly. This book is magnificent and epic. It's ...more

I started this book expecting it to be a guaranteed hit. It started it with a bang, fairly quickly. I was excited to see what would happen. Sadly, it only went down from there. I found it hard to like Fayre at times. I started to like Tomlin then my opinion took a nose dive at the 50% mark.

No complain, except that it was a bit slow (sometimes...)...and if i have to admit, its a bit boring(sometimes..), and I was not thattt excited about Tamlim.
But if you finish the book, you will learn that you actually love the book. Well, thats what happened to me. :)
