What Members Thought
This was a character study with a dash of mystery. Unfortunately, I only liked being in the mind of the youngest character. I was annoyed by the adult characters, who seemed to make dumb life decisions and would have constant internal monologues for what seemed like every single dialogue or action. Although this seems like I didn't like it, I did mostly because of the scrappy young character, Reggie.

Kate Atkinson could be my new favorite author. This is the 3rd Jackson Brodie I've read and I think it is the best so far. Looking forward to finishing the series and then God In Ruins. I really love the way she blends grim dark story lines with likable sympathetic characters that don't entirely have a happy ending. Better than the last one but not great. I guess I'll read the next one in the series for completeness, but I'm not in a rush to do it.
