The main protagonist, Amber was so one-dimensional and unlikable that I started to get bored about halfway through. Fortunately, the book switches to Daphne's POV, which gave some more of the back story and moved the pace along. I had figured out quite early on what the 'twist' was so it was no surprise. ...more
