I remember hearing about this story back when it was happening. In the midst of economic downturn and political uncertainty, it felt so good to have such a happy news story, to have something to celebrate. Though an airplane had crashed in New York City, the pilot successfully managed to land in the Hudson River, and all 155 passengers and crew were saved. Yes, no fatalities -- no major injuries, even. It was remarkable.
