What Members Thought

A selection of short stories strung together as Tommy and Tuppence take over a private detective's office. There's the overarching mystery of international spies, but the other stories range from simple to serious. Add to that, T&T take the opportunity to pretend to be literary detectives. I know Holmes, of course, and Poirot, but I don't recognize others they discuss like McCarty, the Brothers Okewood, or Reggie Fortune and Superintendent Bell. I usually like Agatha Christie's mystery novels but this was the most boring book by her I have read.
This is a Collection of short stories about a married couple who are bored and start a detecetive firm.
The dialouges are lika a Noel Coward paly.

Reread 2021: The Beresfords take over a detective agency and the variety of cases, homages to literary detectives, the Roaring '20s, and the spark between the couple make this the best of Tommy and Tuppence.
