What Members Thought

Not the best from Christie. Somehow just didn’t find myself invested in this book. Perhaps because the investigation part dragged on quite a bit in the middle.
Also, I didn’t buy the motive of the murderer. It didn’t seem plausible - it seemed too petty in fact. I would have thought that the murderer needed higher stakes to motivate him to commit the crime. I managed to guess the Who and the How, but didn’t get the Why. And when the answer came, it wasn’t satisfying.

A good stand alone Agatha Christie whodunnit - perhaps the solution is a little unfair!
The GR blurb:
‘Agatha Christie is more than the most popular mystery writer of all time. In a career that spans over half a century, her name is synonymous with brilliant deception, ingenious puzzles, and the surprise denouement. By virtually inventing the modern mystery novel she has earned her title as the Queen of Crime. Curious? Then you're invited to read....THE SITTAFORD MYSTERY
