A fascinating, truly puzzling, if unlikely mystery. It's fun to watch Poirot deal with a case of serial murder - in alphabetical order. He has his own grown-up Baker Street Irregulars to help, and as usual Hastings provides a useful clue without knowing it. This is a book you can enjoy even when you remember who did it.
