Always worth a periodical re-read as Poirot solves the inexplicable. Christie's writing, narrative and dialogue is far better than most people realise. A well-crafted whodunnit.

After Roger Acroyd, this is my second Agatha Christie novel.
Honestly, I'm not sure which one is better; they're both intense and have wonderful endings.
This one has a more traditional structure, with interviews and clues laid out in front of you and Hercule utilizing his wits to uncover the truth.
