I wonder how these two titles will hold up in the end!

I'm also listening to this read by David Suchet, while I catch up on housework after returning home from holiday! He does read beautifully - not sure which I prefer out of him or Hugh Fraser as a narrator. Intriguing how it starts with the court case and then the story unfolds in flashback.

Yes, I found the plot structure a big part of my enjoyment- plus not having read this one before, that I could recall. I can’t decide which narrator I prefer, either, although I have noticed that sometimes, Suchet reading Poirot’s lines are a little unclear, and I have to rewind and slow down the speed to catch what he is saying. I thought that was kind of odd, since Suchet, in my mind, is Poirot! It was only this audiobook, Suchet’s voice seemed a bit thick, as if he had a cold perhaps. Hope you had a good holiday, Judy!

I've finished this now, and really liked it. I stopped listening to the audio book about a third of the way through, because it was taking far too long for me to find out whodunit, and quickly finished by reading the rest on Kindle (thanks to the library!)
