Lunchtime Listen May 2025
As ever a wonderful lunchtime listen thanks to Hugh Fraser. And even though we knew the story inside out, both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns. Still 5 stars.

And yes it was good, a great story, fabulous characters and a real twist at the end as Poirot solves the crime(s).

Another quick, clever Poirot read.
Japp and Hastings both assist in this novel which of course lent itself to plenty of entertaining quips and sarcastic comments. Featuring a cast of interesting characters and suspects including artists and aristocrats, it quickly becomes clear that there is more to this case than meets the eye. Although not a favourite, this is a quick entertaining read with complex MOs and motives and lots of Poirot's little grey cells. ...more
