AMAZING!! I could not put down this book, I was captured from the very first page. This series differs to that of the Mortal Intruments as it is set in a different place and time. The language used is quite formal, like that of old England, which I feel is a good aspect of the book as it sets it apart from the Mortal Intruments. What does remain the same is Cassandra Clare's ability to create magic with her words and captivate her audience. Clockwork Angel being the first book sets up the series

this story couldn't have been any better than what i thought it was going to be. Tessa is a very courageous, strong girl. she wasn't afraid to do something that was right. though, my favorite character in the story was Jem. he was a very sweet and caring boy. i enjoyed his view on certain things. Will, on the other hand, is complete opposite of Jem. very mysterious, and says things without thinking. he is hiding something i can tell, but what it is? i have no clue. he does care for Tessa, i thin

Tessa a young woman discovers she's part of the Downworld world. Meets and befriends shadowhunters that find her existence no coicidence. Much like The Mortal Instruments but yet different. Darker atmosphere. More secrets and betrayals lie in wait. Tessa is not your average Downworlder at all. Clockwork Angel, prequel to The Mortal Instruments, is a read you definitely invest time, a welcome fantasy. ...more

Loved it so much! I'd missed this world, created by Cassandra Clare. I had to get into the story at the beginning, not really remembering everything about that world anymore, but the rest of the story was just freaking amazing and it was hard to stop reading. I can't wait to read the sequel!
