It only took me 19 years to find out what the big deal was. I finally gave up reading it aloud with Miranda. Not enough time in the day. I admit, what made me decide to finish reading it on my own was our upcoming trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in June. I want to know what I am experiencing. Hopefully I can get Miranda to read it too. It does live up to the hype.

Originally I was forced to read this book in school, and i just couldn't handle it. My year 8 English classes sucked the life out of this book and made it the most undesirable thing in the world. But then fate intervened and I got a job at a book store. I'd always loved to read especially when I was younger but high school has a way of changing everything.
