I didn't think I'd like this book as much as I did. Truthfully, the only reason I had it in the first place was because it was assigned as a reading for my English class. However, I found that I was absolutely enraptured by this quaint story of love and cooking.

This book made me hungry and reminded me of my grandmothers. It's a win-win.

It's not bad, but it did have me rolling my eyes more than a little. I kept thinking that most of the conflict could have been avoided if any of the characters had taken two seconds to use their brains for more than taking up the space between their ears.
