I have a strong memory of watching Miyazaki's film adaptation of Howl's Moving Castle in a friend's dorm room my freshman year of college. It was my first time watching a studio Ghibli film, and the gorgeous drawing style and creativity left a deep impression on me.

I have absolutely no capacity to judge children's literature through my [none-of-yer-dang-business] year-old eyes. This story seemed fun and bubbly with a dash of confusing plot points along the way.
