Eleanor & Park is a story of abuse, economic differences, high school rivalries and friendships wrapped up in a love story. It has the ability to fill readers with the nostalgia of teenage years and first loves.
As I was reading this, for the second time apparently (I do not remember reading any part of this book, which is probably why I scored it low the first time), I was drawn in. It was one of those books you pick up, and you take with you for even a few minutes of reading, to get your fix.
