Overview (Non-Spoilery Section)
I had heard about this book for a while and when I went to Jurassic World, the trailer for the movie played. I was hooked from then on. This book didn’t let me down. I am really into science, it fascinates me, but I don’t think that the science is too much in this novel. Most of the negative reviews I have seen have been saying that the science element is too detailed for them to get through. It is up to you to figure out how much you can stand. - "Technically it's "Carl Sagan Memorial Station." But with all due respect to Carl, I can call it whatever the hell I want. I'm the King of Mars."
- "Beers for everyone if I get back to Earth."
- "If I get back to Ear ...more

I was very apprehensive about reading this book. After reading the description, I thought it would be boring and/or way out there. After seeing some positive reviews, I decided to keep an open mind and read the book. It helped that we selected it for our book club. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I felt that Weir did a good job making this premise work from a technology standpoint. It's clear he did research to create a scenario we could believe. A great read especially for anyone that enjoy
