A fast-paced, spooky read. I wish I could have read this without spoilers, but it was a fun campy read just the same.

THIS was a good book. It's definitely rated R for some creepy, crazy shit, but it was well written, suspenseful and something about it just grabs you. Even the slow parts had away of making you wanna stick around. I was up til the middle of the night on a worknight because I had to finish it. It's not for everybody, but I only picked it up because I had "heard of it somewhere," turns out it's worth the reputation. I was pleasantly surprised. ...more

What a thrill! Levin wrote Rosemary's Baby with the subtlety of a ninja. Everything starts off fine and dandy. Rosemary and Guy's lives are bright with new beginnings. Then, you get that small twinge in your gut when something weird happens, but it's such a small thing that it almost goes unnoticed. It gets wilder from there at a steady pace. I enjoyed the ride with all its twists and turns. I mean, the Biblical parallels...gah!!! ...more
