There were no actual ghosts but this book haunted the shit outta me
Okay also if you are sensitive to things like “siblings dying/sibling grief” that is in this so just warning people since I was not (also in The Faithful Place a sibling dies which again no one warned me about so I’ll just be telling everyone okay thanks bye)

I really enjoyed this novel, particularly Tana French's writing. I have already bought the second in the series; The Likeness. The characters were beautifully drawn and their relationships were fascinating.
