I remember I was so excited to read this book. More than 4 stars on goodreads, fascinating synopsis. It looked like it was really good so I was kind of disappointed when I finished it. At first something would happen and I was like "yeah, yeah that's cool" and then something else would happen and then another thing would happen, and in my head I was thinking, does all these events connect to something bigger, but they were just there. What do you mean Volume One is over? How can it be over... That is not all... it must be my book its missing pages yea that's got to be it. How cruel does an author have to be to just end it like that...

wow this book. I ordered this book about a year ago and finally got to it. this was book was so crazy, and I was so confused. the whole concept and first couple chapters had me hooked. it was so crazy to read from her pov. I'm still confused even after finishing it. the one thing I took away was NOAH SHAW. literally the LOML. I adored him. everyone always said how he was their book boyfriend and now I completely get it. he's the best. he cares so much for Mara and I think their relationship was ...more

This book is amazing! I loved this so much that I literally spoke about it everyday to my mum. I loved the characters, the setting, the action and the unexpected supernatural eliment, basically I LOVE IT ALL! This was an excellent start to what seems is going to be one of my favourite trilogy's. I know this has been really hyped up and that can be a deterrent but trust me if your on the fence just pick it up and give it a try you will love it.
