Overall, we enjoyed this book immensely. We had one member of the book group whose attention wandered, but felt that it was just a matter of 'reading the wrong book at the wrong time' syndrome, which has been experienced by other members of the book group with other books we have chosen. For the rest of us, this book really struck the right chord. We loved the dynamic between the physicist and mathematician and how unconventionally the detective story played out. Loved this so much. Unusual plot for a thriller,whodunnit type novel.Unusual characters, gripping crime and interplay between the physicist and mathematician was brilliant.Read it in one day!
Rather strange book! Once I got used to the Japanese names and who was who I really got into it. A nice twist at the end!
