What Members Thought

I loved this book it has been the first actual adult novel I have read in a while that was more than a romance novel. I liked the characters they were well written I especially liked Marco and Celia I liked their romance it was not overstated it was wonderful and loved every second of it. I liked the story it was interesting the subtle magic was a change from what I have seen before I really loved how it was written. So overall I loved this book and would read more books like it.

not sure how to write this review…on one hand, it wasn’t awful, but on the other hand, it wasn’t very memorable. just not worth the hype, in my opinion.

Ugh...okay don't hate me. This was beautiful and atmospheric, but also lacking in plot and character development.

3 stars because I don't know how to feel about this book. On one hand, the concept and way of execution was refreshing, gorgeous writing crafting a whimsical atmosphere you can feel as if you're there at the circus. On the other hand, the attention were spread too thin with so many POVs any connections I feel with each characters were only surface level. I don't regret reading this though. It's a very unique experience.
