What Members Thought
I really enjoyed the fast pace of this book. All the characters were unique in their own way and I'm so glad I picked it back up to give it another try. The ending was very intense and you never knew what was going to happen next. I have a huge feeling I will be binge reading this entire series. Onto The Dream Thieves I go!

This book was even better the second time round I think I understood things better this time round the story and characters were very interesting to me. The book starts off very, very slow. It's obvious that the author wanted to introduce all the characters, but all of the alternating chapters made the book feel disjointed sometimes. Especially whenever the chapters were told from Whelk's POV. But I really enjoyed Maggie Stiefvater's writing style, and I also enjoyed how sassy Blue was! And the raven boys were adorable, complex characters that I loved getting to know throughout the book.

From the very beginning of this novel it seemed like something special, there was just something about the way it was written that really appealed to me, and it was seriously surprising that something could be so enjoyable from the get go - it's really not something that happens often.

Wow, I absolutely loved this book, which is definitely a surprise. I've heard about this book for years, but never actually picked it up to read. The first book I read from this author was Shiver and I was definitely not a fan, felt like a definite chore to finish it. So, I was hesitant to pick this one up. Luckily, I was proven wrong. Wow! This was a great book. I am ready to read the second book. I didn't know what to expect going into the story. I have never read anything by this author and my friends had mixed feelings about this book. Major twists happened.

This books was not at all what I expected! It was so beautiful and well written, the characters were portrayed so well and the storyline had me hooked from the beginning!
I finished this book in 1.5 sitting, because I could literally not put it down. The author manages to captures so many different personalities and ways of thinking without making it cliché, I love the twists and turns of it and I can’t wait to keep reading this series!

I wasn't really sure about this book for a while.. I'm still not 100% but I really like the dynamic between Blue and her "family" and also obviously between all the Boys. Definitely looking forward to reading the next book to see where everything goes, and see if I can get myself off the fence. Overall, a good read.
