Good Girl, Bad Blood was a fantastic read following a young woman who begins looking into the disappearance of her friend's older brother after the police refuse to help.

This is the second novel in good girl’s guide to murder.
It could be read as a stand alone novel, though it has the same characters and setting and some follow up on the previous plot.
This time Connor’s brother Jamie, is missing. Pippa starts her second season of podcast to find him,
It has something to do with the catfish that was making him do things and follow people and a child whom his father made him do things.

This was darker than the last book. Which wasn’t exactly sunshine and roses, but the ending of this one is brutal and traumatising.
There’s some real character growth, plenty of self-awareness, and just like the last book everything layers to that final conclusion. I do think the next book is going to be next-level trauma, so I might hold off on that for a while.
