Such a beautifully written book!
I loved The song of Achilles for the brilliant way in which it told the story of the Trojan war and brought alive on its pages several warriors and their deeds along with their insecurities and fears.
This book is many tales in one, telling as it does of the sun god Helios's daughter Circe's life on the island of Aiaia where she was exiled when it was discovered that she knew witchcraft.
As Circe hones her skills and comes into her powers, she encounters several of ...more

Wow. Just wow. Let me start by saying that I almost didn’t get this book. I was disappointed by Song of Achilles and regretted that I bought this one before getting to far into Song. Now I’m thrilled I made that “mistake.”
