I guess I will do the old things I liked and things I didn't like.

I'm not sure why I didn't give this a 5. For some reason I am just really stingy right now. It's like a 4.5 or 4.8

I liked Circe. She was a wonderful person and I'm glad she became human in the end. She was basically working towards that her whole life.
I loved the mythology and history. So fun and informative.

I hated the gods. So cruel.

Such a beautifully written book!
I loved The song of Achilles for the brilliant way in which it told the story of the Trojan war and brought alive on its pages several warriors and their deeds along with their insecurities and fears.
This book is many tales in one, telling as it does of the sun god Helios's daughter Circe's life on the island of Aiaia where she was exiled when it was discovered that she knew witchcraft.

Short addition/edit: Thus book is the Forest Gump of Greek mythology

Wow. Just wow. Let me start by saying that I almost didn’t get this book. I was disappointed by Song of Achilles and regretted that I bought this one before getting to far into Song. Now I’m thrilled I made that “mistake.”
