This was a great story. I really loved Linus, Arthur, and all the kids. Getting to know each of the kids was delightful. Seeing Linus evolve throughout the story was really great too. The romance between Linus and Arthur is very subtle and slow burning throughout the story. I love how it ended. Such a wonderful story!

Linus Bake is a caseworker for the Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He is summoned by Extremely Upper Management to perform a secret assignment: to go to an orphanage and do a 3 week review of the administrators and the children and make a recommendation as to whether the place should be closed, and the children moved.
