Well, I finished it for the fifth time now let's pray that this bitch finally gets to the others. I don't know why every single year I make it a goal to read this series but always end up rereading this one and never reading the second. I'm hoping that now that I read it so early in the year and that the audiobook is now on Hoopla I can get to it. I love this series!!!!
My friend has been bugging me to read this series for almost 10 years and I just didn't get around to it becuase of how many big books are already published. Theres so much to catch up on!
BUT Im so glad I finally started it. This book has a great cast- but not an insane amount of main characters but enough to build the world, great world building- she addresses how life really would have been back then (like people dying, superstitions, the role of the church, how uncomfo ...more
