I hope I always feel the same way about Thunderhead as I did on this first reread, and also the first time I read it.
There's a subtle magic in the way I reread things, especially favorite series. If I give it enough time (at least 2-3 years) and enough books in between, the series will stay in my mind as a favorite, but I won't remember everything. The beauty is in the details. If I keep my reviews vague, I can lose just enough to keep these books as constant favorites.
