Reread October 2019
I didn’t enjoy this as much on a reread and I have taken a star away. I wanted to reread the series so far before The Toll is released. Having read Scythe only a couple of weeks ago,Thunderhead does not compare. It is definitely a middle book. Still good though! Am looking forward to the final installment.

Boy! How does a person review a masterful writer such as Neal Shusterman? All I can say is wow! I couldn't tear myself away from this book and read it in one sitting. Normally I'd not want to do that because I usually like taking a longer time to reader larger books so that I can enjoy them more, but I was reading it for a challenge so I'm glad that I read it in a few hours so that things stuck in my head better.

I loved this book so much I loved every part of it and the ending left me wanting more I can't wait until the third book. I loved the characters they have developed so much I really like how Citra is really coming into her own as a Scythe and how Rowan is trying to root out the evil of Scythes and I like the new character Greyson he is so well written I like everything about him. Thunderhead!

There were so many plot lines sometimes that I forgot other characters who weren't as prominent. (view spoiler) Besides that, I really enjoyed Citra and Rowan's story lines. Rowan's story line was full of vigilante justice and I was here for it. And Citra was out ...more

Another fantastic book in this great series. The plot twists man! The plot twists just keep getting me. There was just soooooo much going on in this book and I can't wait to pick up the third book! I NEED ANSWERS!
