I love this world and magic. One of my favorite things about this book are Grimoires! They have a soul and personality. It's amazing. I like interactions between main characters as well. Nathaniel is sarcastic and I love it. (view spoiler) But I will say that ending was not up to my taste. I was a little bit cut off.

THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD! I was interested in it at the start, and then it kind of died down and I lost that intrigue. But I saw it was the Book of the Month for a new book club run by some youtubers I watch, and it was on sale on Kindle, so I picked it up! And boy I loved it, all of it! It also took me a very long time to read, a bit a day, which I think helped. I retained a lot more details, and it was more enjoyable, not forcing myself to read it.

"Sorcery of Thorns" is a book for book lovers. I love it when a book feels like it is speaking directly to your soul.
I did not read much about this book before I started reading, but I quickly became enthralled in the story with the opening line, “Night fell as death rode into the Great Library of Summershall.” Is there a better hook? I immediately had to know what was going on and what kind of shenanigans were happening in a library.
