This one was a trudge for me. But as this was my second attempt, I decided to push through. I wish I hadn’t bothered. The first quarter of the book was such a struggle: I was bored out of my brain. There’s so much politicking going on, and I just do not care. Get to the point already.
It’s quite brutal and not the sort of book to read if you’ve had a bad day and want something to switch off with. It’s depressing and has a billion characters to keep track of, half of whom will die. Everyone says ...more
