Ponyboy Curtis believes there are only 2 kinds of people in the world, Greasers, and Socs. Greasers are the low class poor kids, while the Socs are the upper class rich kids. These to groups are in a rivalry, and hate each other. This was a great story with mediocre writing. Which is to be expected from such a young girl writing it. It was sad, yet uplifting and I really liked how the story came full circle in the end.

My daughter, Madison, read this for school and I read it along with her.
