FINISHED! I must have started this book five times over the past 20 years, so pardon me if I feel quite a sense of accomplishment at having gotten through it.
So...is it good?
I would say that once I sort of realized that the book is supposed to be a bit of the very Entertainment that lies at the heart of it—a sort of literal version of it—and reading over some of Wallace’s musings/essays, or others writing about said essays—well, that helped.
