You know when when you finally read or watch something after years of thinking about it and it is such a disappointment because it was so much better in your imagination? That was this. It was perfect in my head. All the wonky bits were smoothed, the plot was tightened, the drama and horror heightened by all the adaptions and summarizations I've seen and then molded in my head to make a custom product. I almost feel bad because how many things can live up to that? Still...
