What Members Thought
This book was really well written as any book by Nicholas Spark.
It began great had its sad moments.
I absolutely loved the way Savannah and John fallen in love, it seemed so surreal and magical.
I love the way they were around eachother and how they brought the best out in eachother.
This book made me cry so much, I felt everything as if it were happening to me.
I didn't like their break up, I hated they couldn't be together. I felt just as betrayed as John did and I just wanted to throw the boo ...more

It's been a while since I last read a Nicolas Sparks novel. Just like the last book of his I read (A Walk to Remember) this book too has memorable characters and a heart-rending story.
It has a lot about 9/11 and the war that follows, and I did find the ending to be a little unsatisfactory, but not all love stories end in "Happily Ever After."
I found I had trouble putting the book down till I had finished it. Sparks has not lost his touch with beautiful love stories. Bravo! 4 stars! ...more

This book is amazing!!! It has everyhting that i was looking for in a book. It had the perfect amount of romance and comedy plus some sad parts but they all equal out. I would highly recomend it.
This was not my favorite Nicholas Sparks book. I really was not a fan of the ending.
Once again Nicholas Sparks did not let me down. His books have a great ability to make me cry completely through the second half of the book and when finished I feel the need to go in search of my great love. I cannot wait to see the difference in the movie.
Yet another one of my favorite books by Nicholas Sparks! A true love story all the way!!!! The end definitely takes an unexpected turn but it left me in tears!
This story was well-written, but Sparks' books are so sad...I need to take a break from his stuff. lol They are so touching, though, I love em.
