This is by far my favorite Nicholas Sparks book. Maybe because of it's relation to the recent Iraq War, or maybe something to do with the characters, but I loved it from beginning to end!
Savannah's uninhibited attraction to John Tyree is described elegantly, and John's loner persona has readers pulling for him throughout. By the end of the book, John illustrates what love is truly about - his unselfish act resonated with this reader.

Oddly this was the first Sparks book I read. This book had me hooked on to more of his books
I loved this book because it describes how sometimes true love works. There are no false fairy tale endings but love remains the same. It does make you think how crazy life can be in certain circumstance. I would defintly pick this novel.
