DNF at 25% mark.
This is not a bad book per se, it's just slow-going and exhausting. In other words, I felt totally indifferent reading it, began skipping parts, and didn't care about what was going to happen, so I decided to just stop.
The part that I did read is about the protagonist, a first-person scribe, meeting this legendary rough charming rogue captain (cliche), and they are at this inn, and the captain promises this super adventure. Only ... it takes them 25%, a whole quarter of the book, ...more
