So disappointed after all the good reviews. I found this book dark and unenjoyable. There were zero good feelings reading this book--it was just unrelenting fear and dreariness and some sadness, and the entire world seemed colorless. There wasn't really any good payoff at the end either after the buildup--it was just, POOF oh look I can suddenly (view spoiler). Didn't really like any of the characters either. ...more
