Absolutely fantastic with a whole scoop of peculiar!
I didn’t know what to expect from Hollow City. I read the first book several years ago now and I remember liking it but being a little disappointed because I didn’t love it.
However, Hollow City was completely different... I couldn’t remember much from MPHFPC but I knew enough to get me through. I remembered all the wonderfully strange characters thank goodness, or I fear I would have been completely lost.

This book made me laugh, squeal, and tremble.
The whole reading experience without those vintage images, was surreal enough. But with even the pictures added in, it was like the story was brought to life, that these syndrigasti were true, and that they were living among us. Just that we haven't noticed yet. It made me fought hard to distinguish between reality and fantasy.
Incontrovertibly, these pictures are the reason why Miss Peregrine's series stood apart starkly from the other fantasy series ...more
