It was better the second time! Reading slowly let me see every detail I missed, all the hints Sarah was throwing since this first book are precious.

I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up not knowing if I would like it or not but I'm totally glad I did cause I loved it! I didn't really like the love triangle and I overall liked chaol a lot better than Dorian. it was a pretty cool concept it kinda reminded me of the hunger games which isnt bad at all.Overall it was a great book and can't wait to read the next book. :) ...more

I really really liked this book!!! It had adventure, romance, and just general badassery (that's a word now). I enjoyed the world and all of the characters, and I am highly looking forward to the next book, which I will be picking up immediately.

I LOVED this one, Celaine is such a badass character, she just didn't act or behave the way she was supposed to. The fantasy just came out in the perfect time, and all the romance was not forced at all, but sometimes I felt they were leaving behind one of the characters. Im totally #TeamChaol I recommend it a lot, it was really past paged, and the world even tough I couldn't felt it so well developed, it was okay, but the characters are just awesome and Celaine is so freaking hilarious.
