Wow. 8 Years later, and here I am. This is the first time I have reread this book, and I possibly love it more? I know why I've waited this long to dive into this series again. I stopped last time after book 4 because I was too scared to carry on. But I'm ready now.

I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up not knowing if I would like it or not but I'm totally glad I did cause I loved it! I didn't really like the love triangle and I overall liked chaol a lot better than Dorian. it was a pretty cool concept it kinda reminded me of the hunger games which isnt bad at all.Overall it was a great book and can't wait to read the next book. :) ...more

I love this book way more than i thought i would off.
This book wow none stop action filled with kick ass characters, two swoon worthy guys but i love chaol more.
I loved the world yes it was a bit messed up but it was interesting and beautiful for the most part.
Now celaena such a kick ass character, she made me laugh and to say what she had been through such a kind character even if she is an assassin, one of my all time favourite female protagonist.

I really really liked this book!!! It had adventure, romance, and just general badassery (that's a word now). I enjoyed the world and all of the characters, and I am highly looking forward to the next book, which I will be picking up immediately.

I heard great things about this book. I thought I would like it. Nope. The plot went all over the place and I thought it spent too many pages on information that wasn't that important.
