Okay... Where do I begin?
A Court of Thorns and Roses is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, with a twist of farie (I much prefer this spelling ^^ ) fantasy, however, seeing as I only vaguely remember watching that film in my early days, I won't be referring back too much to it, as my knowledge is limited. Also, bear in mind that I'll be doing a video review for this with a section where I'll be talking in more depth, with spoilers... I WANT TO STAY CALM WRITING THIS BUT SO MANY THINGS HAD ME BOTHERED ABOUT THIS BOOK IT'S HARD TO KEEP CONTAINED.
I think, though, the major setback was that I'd read the three Throne of Glass books currently out and really immersed myself in that series so this book dulled majorly in comparison. Like, it just had me saying "why" over and over. The protagonist drew little to no sympathy from me.
