Haven’t finished a book in a day in a while. So glad I finished this before book club tomorrow. The suspense was amazing and just how I like it. Currently watching the movie now and half way through to compare notes.
This book scared me in more ways than I thought it would. I can't even imagine a world where I can't open my eyes. I cried tears of relief when I finished the book. Books don't normally make me cry, but I was so overwrought with stress that I couldn't help but cry. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's writing and his creepy imagery. I also get the meaning of the title, I think. I want to read more of the author's writing if there is any.

I loved this book. I went in reverse order this time and watched movie prior to reading the book. I really enjoyed both the movie and book the same for different reasons.
So suspenseful... this will keep you at the edge of the seat.

Scary, sometimes a bit too gruesome to be honest. I like the way the story was told, but I didn't quite understand everything, which is why I give it four stars instead of five.
