I got completely absorbed in this book and was surprised to see how many people were put off by the fact that she was ill prepared for the journey...what kind of book would it have been if she had?! A 20-page dull-as-tombs hiking lesson? No, ta.
This book is so much more about the death of Cheryl's mother and learning how to heal and forgive than about effing hiking!
