I will need to spend time with this, later, and read it again.
This book is only barely legible in parts, and I can’t recommend it because I don’t think anyone will like it. But I do.
I think Lud-in-the-Mist is a preposterous little painted box, filled with golden trinkets that play off-key tunes and seemingly clear gemstones that upon a deeper look contain a ragged chasm-like flaw that takes your breath in its beauty and then reduces a part of you to hysterics.

This was a slow-starting book then it took off only to lose me in the last couple of chapters. If I had enjoyed the story more, I would re-read the last bit but I think I’m just glad to call it done.
