I wish i would have read this years ago. Mary Shelley writes in what might be considered poetic narrative. If that's not a recognized genre, maybe it should be.
Frankenstein sets out to create humanity but quickly learns of his immense mistake. Suffering through the death of those which he is close, loneliness, and utter despair are all part of his fateful end.
