It's very seldom that I look so forward to finishing a book... ordinarily, I would have just abandoned it. However, this being one of the "all-time must read" classics, I was determined to power through it.
This book is, of course, an indictment on the politics and people of Swift's time, which he had to veil in satire in order to protect himself. However, the book has just not aged very well.
