In this play, I felt that Tennessee Williams truly captured some southern “types” of people that I remember from my childhood: The overbearing, controlling husband (Stanley), the sweet “go along to get along” wife (Stella), and the Southern Belle (Blanche) who used her charms to get what she wanted or needed.
